Online Blackjack 21 - Online Blackjack Rules

Blackjack Overview:

The online Blackjack objective is for a player to come as close to 21, while still having a higher number than the blackjack dealer. If the total value of the cards is closer to 21 than the dealer, than the player wins as much as he will wagered. If the total of the blackjack player's cards exceeds 21, then he will "busts" and loses his blackjack wager.

Card Values:

• Suits of the cards have no meaning in the online blackjack game.
• Cards 2-10 are the "face value".
• Queens, Jacks and Kings are all valued at 10.
• Aces can count as either 11 or 1.

If the blackjack player got a hand that consists of a Ace and 6, then he may either consider it as 17 or drop its value to 7. The Ace card may count as 11 or 1. You may change the value of the Ace card as the blackjack game progresses.

Online Blackjack Gameplay

Deal

Clicking on the "Deal Button" after placing a blackjack bet will starts a new blackjack game.

Hit/Stand

Clicking on the "Hit Button" will deal the player an additional blackjack card. Clicking on the "Stand Button" will keep the blackjack player's hand at it's current value.

Split

If the blackjack player's first 2 cards are of the same value for example 7, 7, or Q, K he can split them into 2 separate hands, then he can placing a second wager of equal value.

Double

When a blackjack player has been dealt 2 cards and believes that a 3 card will give him a good position to beat the blackjack dealer's, he can "Double". Then his wager is doubled, and he is allowed to receive and hit just one additional blackjack card.

Insurance

"Insurance" gives the blackjack player a great chance to protect himself when he believes the dealer might have a Blackjack. If the player believes the blackjack dealer's hole card, face down value is ten, then the player may purchase "Insurance" against the dealer Blackjack at the price of a half of his initial bet.
